Job Title: Academic Assessment Tester
Department: Psychological/Behavioral Health
Education Level and Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Educational field and undergraduate level coursework in assessment, including ethical administration, scoring, and interpretation or a Masters in Special Education.
Reports To: Director of Psychology/Behavioral Health
Performance Responsibilities and Job Tasks
The Academic Assessment Tester will coordinate with school psychologists to schedule and administer academic tests on an as needed basis.
- Administer and score academic tests.
- Write up testing observations and provide results to the school psychologist as requested.
- Meet testing deadlines as set.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Program Director.
- Comply with the Standards for ESU #13 Employee Performance and Code of Ethic.
Working Conditions
- Inside school district buildings.
- Able to travel to school districts.
At-Will Position. This position is an “at-will” position and may be terminated, with or without cause, at any time in the sole discretion of the ESU 13 Administrator or ESU 13 Administrator’s designee.
Essential Functions: The essential functions of the Academic Assessment Tester position include: (1) regular, dependable in-person attendance on the job; (2) the ability to perform the identified tasks and to possess and utilize the identified knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the identified work activities; and, (3) the ability to perform the following identified physical requirements.
